Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how or it felt awkward?
Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a massive movement to get the word out.
Please everybody take just a moment to watch.... The Gratitude Campaign ...and then forward it to your friends!

Posted - May 02 2008 : 09:06:31 AM I wonder why they didn't just use the standard ASL sign? I guess if both the gesturer and the recipient know what it means, that's all that matters. But is the military going to train their people to recognize this gesture? |

Posted - May 02 2008 : 07:14:21 AM HI all, this is sign language for Thank You. It was not recently created but the idea to use it to thank our Military people was.
I received a video clip showing how to do this a few months ago and passed it around to everyone because I think it is a great idea. Sign language is a great idea as well and my 2 year old granddaughter is being taught sign language. This is truly a universal language and should be considered as a second language.
Some people look for happiness; others create it.
