HI all, this is sign language for Thank You. It was not recently created but the idea to use it to thank our Military people was.
I received a video clip showing how to do this a few months ago and passed it around to everyone because I think it is a great idea. Sign language is a great idea as well and my 2 year old granddaughter is being taught sign language. This is truly a universal language and should be considered as a second language.
Some people look for happiness; others create it.
We are never alone in the forest of Sisters! We "Mountain Farmgirls" are outstanding in our field!
I wonder why they didn't just use the standard ASL sign? I guess if both the gesturer and the recipient know what it means, that's all that matters. But is the military going to train their people to recognize this gesture?
