I know this will open up a Pandora's Box, but it occurred to me that with everybody selling their goods and wares like mad through her site (from which there is a good readership), it might be nice to give her a little thank you for the opportunity she provides!

I am sure she will say NO! But it might be nice to offer!

I ordered some goodies today and look forward to receiving them in the mail. Every day is a farmgirl day. :) I bet the mailman up in Moscow is having a hoot of a time smelling all the good food & chocolates coming to farmgirl houses across the land.

Oh thank you so much Patricia, it's exactly what I am working to create and every day I am more grateful for the beautiful space I am in. It is quite new to me and very welcome!

Linder, you are the perfect example of what I teach in my ministry: "Today I choose faith not fear". You are creating your reality, one that will be abundant not only in financial prosperity, but also in every other way as well. Well done!

Good Morning Ladies!
Oh my what a powerful thread this is to read!
I have been off line for a while and have missed you all terribly. As so many of you have mentioned in this particular thread, I too have become accustomed to connecting with all of you on a level that is quite different from my day to day world. I get grounded here, I find love and support from total strangers and in my apron dreams I find the encouragement I need to move forward with the ideas I 've harbored but never shared for my little business.
This is a special place and should be supported by all that benefit from it's existence. How lucky are we?
I was laid off my job 3 weeks ago. I have gone through every emotion at least a dozen times and have come away KNOWING that everything is going to be just fine. Better than fine! Just for today my rent is paid and so are most of my bills. I have food in my stomach and gas in my car. All my basic needs are met on a physical level and spiritually I am choosing this time to renew myself. To start fresh and to share with others how great my life is and how much better I believe it's going to be. I appreciate MaryJane and all the gifts she's given us for free!
I will be placing an order today to help support MaryJanes Farm. It's the least I can do to show my thanks for the forum she's created here and the feeling of "home" that I don't get anywhere else.
Thanks all, although I am still new here I want you to know you've made a difference in my life and helped me find my beautiful self again!

Well, no pictures unfortunately, but I wrote about MaryJane on my blog too. And I included the website address and a little information about her and her business.

Now I am going to see MaryJane Lee's.

Since the day I was given the bumper sticker of "Farmgirl, Plowin' Thru" at Frannie's Cabin Creek Farm Gathering with Mary Jane last fall, I couldn't get home soon enough to put in on my truck. I sport it on my bumper with great pride - proud to be a true working farmgirl, proud to be affiliated with such a wonderful group of women (MJF Forum), and honored to have met a lady, Miss Mary Jane, who's impression on me will be everlasting.

Thank you, Mary Jane, for this opportunity to meet, share with, and befriend countless hardworking and good-hearted women. What a blessing!

Mary Jane

In early 2007 the moon, sun and stars lined up and I found Mary Jane's. I felt like I had found home. It was a comfortable pair of overalls, wrapped in apple pie, and sweet as honey.

Here you were living YOUR life, YOUR way. I loved it then and I love it now. Your example, and those of so many, of the strong women on this board, encouraged me to make a big move.

I was making over 100,000.00 a year as a sales and marketing manager and I was miserable. My heart yearned to be get back to my roots. I was a farmers daughter and the land had been calling me home for a long time. The stress from my job was taking a major toll on my health. I no longer wanted to close the big deal because what I was selling ment nothing to me. So I stepped back and began to follow my dream. My work went to part time ( the corporation decided having me part time was better than not at all). My husband and I purchsed about 6 acres ( which we moved onto last summer) and began working on some organic dip mixes, herbal bath and beauty products and recycled home decor. Our first Saturday at the farmers market I was terrified. What would happen? Well we cleared over $400.00 in one Saturday. People were asking to carry our stuff in their stores and wanting a website to buy from. It was a bit overwhelming. After a few months we had to step back a bit and decide where we wanted this to go. Well we are moving forward again. Getting licenses and building our customer base. I am developing our website and looking forward to the day I can say goodby to my corporate job. Our company is called The Good Earth Farm. Now, because of a post you sent out regarding a small farm writer, I am writing for About.com.

I tell you all of this because I want you know how much you have inspired me to believe in myself and my dream. I would love to be able to shout your name from the roof top every chance I get. So I will start with my website, then see what we can work out with About.com ( if that is ok with you, hmmmm I feel a blog coming on), I would love some bumber stickers for our local farmer's markets and have you ever considered homebased distributors???? I think there could be a way for farm girls to sell your products and make a little money? Kinda like AVON but MARYJANE instead. Just a thought. Hey I do really well with launching new company divisions....

Seriously a simple thank you does not seem like enough. I will do my best to shout your name to all and I think we need MJ for president stickers!

MaryJane lee, go girl!

Patricia - Itchy, chic, isn't that just the way? Dang it! Why must chic and stylish always be uncomfortable! :)

Just kidding - we must go forge ahead with our search for "chic is comfy". Hm......a new slogan!

I need to put fresh bumper stickers on my van..there are two of the old type that faded more..but I do love them. I think I will replace one with a certified farmgirl bumpersticker and leave the other one as is. None of my kids at home drive yet so I think mine are safe..haha.
I appreciate this site, you gals and most especially MaryJane SO much. I can't add much more to what everyone has said but wanted to make sure that MaryJane does know that I am so happy to be a part of this...it is a great feeling to know that this is RIGHT.

I would like to thank MaryJane for having this great site. Even though I am fairly new here I have so enjoyed finding great women with great ideas. The first time I saw this site I added it to my blog, months ago.
This place is like pass it on. Every one tries to pass on good feelings, good ideas, good support, good friendship, good stories, and just good morals.
Thank-you!

I will probably be the last one on the totem pole but all of you know computers are not my thing but I will find some one to help me.I will have to say that never once have I ever felt neglected, Even though we dont get to talk as much as I would like to I know what a busy life she has , I just carry a picture in my mind of her sweet little laugh when I ve done something silly, and that makes me happy. You know she has to be an Angel amongst us because what other lady has touched as many lives with goodness as she has.My big old Yeller truck looks mighty good decorated with a Mary Jane Sticker . It improved the color a lot

Great ideas from everyone! Thanks Tina!
