Posted - Jan 24 2008 : 11:01:45 AM So I'm on that site I love to look at all the natural and organic stuff. Not sure how much of it all I buy into. I do think plastic is bad most of the time and I wish milk was kept in a glass container ours comes in plastic that is yellow. I also worry about tap water and know bottled isn't always better so I drink our filtered at home but I need a way to take filtered with me. I used to drink so much water when I was a freshman in college. I had a plastic container that had a straw built on and I drank it all day long! I need to do that. I also think wireless everything can't be good for you. I do love it though. Cell phones I used to sleep with it beside my head. It is still in my bed which I need to fix but I have it on in case of emergencies. I moved anything electrical from near my bed so when I sleep I don't get that radiation thingy (from organic style). What do you think ?? or do

Posted - Jan 24 2008 : 11:22:33 AM i can tell you this regarding cell phones. We both had one until we moved North. Rob got rid of his after I did because he noticed that where he set it in his truck, the plastic was getting weird and warped. That scared him enough that he ditched it altogether. We donated our phones to a women's shelter int eh twin cities for women who escape abusive relationships.
We have wireless internet because I have a laptop, but other than that we keep that sort of thing to a minimum. we are pretty green here (I hate that word though...) but it is out of a matter of living really, not trend. if trend drives people to be more aware, that is great....it jsut hate the words used. um, I think everyone-even us-can use a little more work towards making their lives healthier and more eco savvy....
we wont ever have cell phones again though....it's just not worth the risk to us, and quite frankly, it is okay to be unreachable from time to time...most people are just too afraid of their own thoughts though, and that's why most people are afraid to be disconnected and unreachable.
