Posted - Sep 24 2023 : 2:40:40 PM Beautiful corn stalks, Karen! I grow about two dozen every year for that exact reason, however, mine only reached about 2 feet tall this year! :-( Corn stalks for the fairies, I guess!!

Posted - Sep 13 2023 : 8:14:03 PM Heather!! Lol…I’m blamin my surgery for lack of brain use! Hahaha! Yes…I love growing pumpkins! I have 3 jack o lanterns that are growing…one is already orange! We are lucky to live in an area with irrigation that we use for watering. It makes everything look so green.

Posted - Sep 13 2023 : 11:53:16 AM I was just thinking yesterday how I need to get some corn stalks for my front porch. Now I need to grow my own!! Great thinking. As far as pumpkins go...I am determined to have at least one pumpkin make it to Halloween one year. Bugs are not my friend.

Posted - Sep 11 2023 : 2:29:31 PM That made me giggle Karen! You can grow your own pumpkins as well. They do take a lot of room though.
