Posted - Sep 27 2015 : 06:41:23 AM My brother says putting turkey manure on the garden this fall will help it for spring. We just moved to Missouri and have filled our first garden. Any thoughts or suggestions? |

Posted - Sep 30 2015 : 2:49:41 PM It's probably a lot like chicken manure which is considered 'hot' since it's so high in nitrogen when fresh. You're brother is correct. Putting it on the garden in fall so it can mellow over the winter will be beneficial for your garden if it is in need of nitrogen.
