Posted - Dec 26 2014 : 4:06:23 PM I received the seeds that I requested from WinterSown.org that I will be planting to provide fresh produce for our family and to our local food pantry. I am so pleased with the different kinds of seeds they sent!
Have you heard of the Plant a Row for the Hungry program? You just plant an extra row or plant and donate the produce. Very simple but means everything to a Mom who wants to provide her family with fresh, nutritious food. Will you Plant a Row this year?

Posted - Dec 27 2014 : 05:45:34 AM I haven't heard of this program but I will look into it.
I guess I kinda have been doing this all these years. I plant specific things that I know my neighbors like and give the harvest to them. It's not really donating to the hungry but it is donating!
