Posted - Jul 20 2012 : 7:00:54 PM So I am looking into some second plantings for my garden. I have a large section from my finished potatoes and then some area from peas, broccoli and kale.
Does anyone know any good sites, any tips for information, I have no intentions on letting my garden sit for the rest of the season.
Thanks so much Ladies.

Posted - Aug 02 2012 : 5:03:18 PM Can I plant lettuce and beets in the shade of my sunflowers? That is the only place the seeds won't get baked... Will it hurt them to grow in the shade?

Posted - Aug 02 2012 : 2:12:42 PM I am planting a second batch of green and yellow string beans, carrots and beets. When this hot weather and drought stop I will also plant some lettuce and spinach again.

Posted - Jul 21 2012 : 08:43:15 AM Our beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers are almost finished. We've had so much rain, I think they drowned. We're thinking about replanting beans and okra. Good luck on your Mid Summer Planting. Marly
