So I am looking into some second plantings for my garden. I have a large section from my finished potatoes and then some area from peas, broccoli and kale.

Does anyone know any good sites, any tips for information, I have no intentions on letting my garden sit for the rest of the season.

Thanks so much Ladies.

Our beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers are almost finished. We've had so much rain, I think they drowned. We're thinking about replanting beans and okra.
Good luck on your Mid Summer Planting.

My squash plants petered out with the lack of rain, but the squash is coming back on again! The only second crop I plant is lettece in spring and late summer.
Marly, I LOVE okra!

I am planting a second batch of green and yellow string beans, carrots and beets. When this hot weather and drought stop I will also plant some lettuce and spinach again.

Can I plant lettuce and beets in the shade of my sunflowers? That is the only place the seeds won't get baked... Will it hurt them to grow in the shade?

beets don't mind partial shade, but the lettuce ... the temps. may be a bit hot still. depends on the weather where you are.
I was going to plant a second planting of my squashes, but it is raining today :) my lettuce I will plant in the end of the month.
