Posted - Feb 27 2012 : 05:43:01 AM I'm thinking about starting some of these plants to harvest their seeds. What I'm reading about them sounds like they are easy to grow. Has anyone else grown these plants? Any words of wisdom about starting a crop of any of them? I did read that quinoa and amaranth tend to cross-pollinate.

Posted - Jun 26 2012 : 7:45:26 PM I planted amaranth in the garden, but it never even sprouted. Should I have started it inside? I kept it well watered outside. I'm not sure what to try for next year.

Posted - Mar 06 2012 : 6:23:23 PM I am going to take a whack at growing some amaranth, and millet this year. Hopefully I can use it for my chickens.
