Posted - Jun 16 2011 : 5:31:17 PM Anyone have a scarecrow in their garden this year? Meet my new addition Pippi Longsticking! She was fun to put together with clothes from the thrift shop and yarn braids. I enjoy being greeted by her when I get home from work. And there have been no more critters eating my tomato plants either...maybe a coincidence. I planted some flower seeds around her, a free sample packet I got with my order from Baker Creek. She is waiting patiently for them to grow. Would love to see some other garden friends! Barb

Posted - Jun 16 2011 : 10:53:49 PM Barbara, she's adorable. Is that a purse on her shoulder? You should put a little pot or baggie full of dirt with flower seeds in her purse and water. It would be cute seeing little flowers growing out of her purse. Thanks for sharing...I think I'm going to borrow your cute idea! |

Posted - Jun 16 2011 : 6:36:31 PM How cute! But she's to sweet to scare anything away. Me and the grands are going to make one for my garden next time they come. I'm going to go to Goodwill and see if I can find some overalls.
