Posted - May 23 2010 : 8:37:13 PM So we had a hard frost last week, everything made it through fine except the potatoes- the leaves all got frostbit. My standby garden book says that there should be enough energy in the underground parts to get them through but does not say whether I need to trim the dead leaves - does anyone know? Everything else was fine, potatoes, peas, onions, etc. This was the first year my potatoes came up looking perfect too:( Oh well.... Amy Grace
