Posted - May 11 2010 : 07:56:34 AM A sweet friend sent me some Calendula seeds. Does anyone have any tips for planting them? They are an annual right?

Posted - May 11 2010 : 08:38:34 AM Yep....Annuals.
I use calendula petals in my Lemon Verbena soap---a very good herb for your skin. And the petals are edible--Haven't tried that!
I just planted half a raised bed in calendula this morning--Funny!
They grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or bright partial shade. Deadhead regularly to promote new blossom. Good luck!
