Posted - Apr 27 2009 : 1:38:16 PM Well I got my plot Sat and cleaned two of the four sections before a rain storm hit. i am so excited to have a plot in an orginal VG. Wow, now what do I do. I am reading the Victory Garden book from the 1970's based on the PBS series and it is wonderful. Any others doing a VG? |

Posted - Apr 28 2009 : 07:54:39 AM I guess you can term ours a Victory Garden. My goal is to raise 99% of everything we eat. Living this far South, it's hard for us to grow some of the cold weather veggies, but I'm still gonna try. I even want to grow a 10-Bean Soup garden, consisting of 10 heirloom beans. I've always loved the idea of a VG, and am glad more people are turning back to that. Good luck, Suzie!
