Well I got my plot Sat and cleaned two of the four sections before a rain storm hit. i am so excited to have a plot in an orginal VG. Wow, now what do I do. I am reading the Victory Garden book from the 1970's based on the PBS series and it is wonderful. Any others doing a VG?

I'm inspired by the Victory gardens, definitely. I am trying to do a big huge garden so we hardly have to buy any food!!
Suzie - please post pictures if you can - I would love to see them, I love the connection with the past.

I guess you can term ours a Victory Garden. My goal is to raise 99% of everything we eat. Living this far South, it's hard for us to grow some of the cold weather veggies, but I'm still gonna try. I even want to grow a 10-Bean Soup garden, consisting of 10 heirloom beans. I've always loved the idea of a VG, and am glad more people are turning back to that. Good luck, Suzie!

Gonna have to look for the Victory Garden book. I'd like to raise even more of our food.

Blessings,
