I got this idea after reading the "seed swap." I thought how fun it would be to get random seeds in the mail. . .

Last year I was invited to a "chain-letter" where you mail one book and send the letter to 6 friends and then you got 36 books in return.

This inspired the Seed Exchange "chain letter".

Where if your interested you send me your address. Then I mail the letter to you. When you get the letter, you mail one packet of seeds (collected from your garden or a new packet.) You then copy the letter and send it to 6 Farm Girls (or other seed enthusist) and so the chain starts, after a few weeks you can expect 36 individual seed packets in your mailbox.

We are doing this in our Farm Girl group and it seems to work great.
So let me know if your interested.
Thanks,
Heide

Tammy, thank you for asking because it is confusing. Funny how we try to simplify and it gets complicated. . .
okay so when you get the letter you copy it 6 times. Them put the address lables you get with the original letter on the new copies. Put each copy with it's lable on back in an envolope adding 6 of your address lables. Then mail the 6 letters to people you think might be interested or have told you they are interested. Oh and you mail one packet of seeds to the address lable on the back of the original letter you got.
Is that make sense? If not, let me know.
Thanks again for asking,
h

I received my seeds and letter from Stephanie. Ok don't laugh but sometimes I have a blonde moment! I'm confused as to what I do next. There were six address labels of Steph's in the letter. What do I do with those? And what do I do with my address labels? I know your laughing! But help so I don't mess this all up! Tammy

Got the seeds, thank you! I will send yours tomorrow.

I don't have any names of people to send, and I am okay to not get seeds, but I am willing to send some seeds to anyone that would like them and forward heides address?

Corinne~ You should probably either email Stephanie or Merry. I had to get out of the swap because I couldn't find enough people. Getting seed from France should be exciting for these ladies! Glad you joined!
