Posted - Oct 12 2008 : 7:56:18 PM I tried to do a look-up (search) on this forum and I even searched elsewhere. I could've sworn I saw a website listed for a good website for buying seeds. I found one that looks good but I'd like to hear from the farmgirls what they suggest. I'm collecting seeds and want to hold onto them (so I need them to be able to store well).

Please visit the Mavens's hen house and see our seed company list =) it's about half way down the page. I hope that it helps. We are trying to grow only heirlooms.

Posted - Oct 15 2008 : 07:34:31 AM Tina, thanks too for the seed company information. I am also looking for seeds to grow through the winter for next years garden. I have ordered from Thompson's, but they don't have many unique seeds and I wrote down the names of a bunch of flowers I saw at the Chicago Botanic Garden that I want to try to grow.
