Posted - Nov 07 2005 : 4:00:38 PM Don't know if this was a good idea or not. I ground up some old vitamins I found in the cupboard and sprinkled in the garden. I felt I couldn't just throw them out, or dump them down the toilet. I feel maybe the plants will get some benefit from them. Let me know what you think, good or bad! KarenP

Posted - Nov 08 2005 : 3:06:23 PM Thanks Lynn, Do not have any prescription drugs, and for sure would dump them in the toilet or especially the garden! I won't let my husband even put weed and feed on the lawn. KarenP

Posted - Nov 07 2005 : 4:08:46 PM I'll look it up as much as I can... Just regular "balanced nutrition" type vitamins may be okay, as they contain iron and a few other nutrients that plants need. I would not do any Prescription drugs - those might be toxic. |
