Don't know if this was a good idea or not.
I ground up some old vitamins I found in the cupboard
and sprinkled in the garden.
I felt I couldn't just throw them out, or dump them down the toilet.
I feel maybe the plants will get some benefit from them.
Let me know what you think, good or bad!

Karen, I've done that too, except I dump mine in the compost, hate to see them to go total waste, I"ve had no problems so far?

Do not have any prescription drugs, and for sure would dump them in the toilet or especially the garden!
I won't let my husband even put weed and feed on the lawn.

I'll look it up as much as I can... Just regular "balanced nutrition" type vitamins may be okay, as they contain iron and a few other nutrients that plants need. I would not do any Prescription drugs - those might be toxic. |
