Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 9:26:46 PM in my garden are pansys that are volunteers!! i turned the dirt in this garden as well as raked it before planting my poppys, which by the way are not blooming yetm and had just one pansy come up and bloom. after 3 days of heavy rain and cold i looked at my garden today and to my surprise there are tons of pansys in bud! weird! peace connie in alaska |

Posted - Jul 31 2008 : 01:14:22 AM oh..you know you can clip those and press them between sheets of paper towels..use a heavy book like a phone book, and just layer the dry flowers on a sheet of paper toweling. I have sooo many dry pansy flowers that I must do something with soon..I'm thinking I will be crafting something real soon with them.

Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 10:16:23 PM our growing season is about 90 days but often shorter, rarely longer. i wiill try to get a picture and post it. my garden looks like a bunch of weeds growing but really it is mostly poppys that havent blossomed yet. peace connie in alaska |
