Posted - Mar 01 2008 : 07:41:30 AM Has anyone grown these? I saw them in my seed catalog, and mentioned in a recent Harrowsmith magazine article, and I'm intrigued. My son wants to try them this year. Apparently they're from the tomato family, but taste like pineapple with a hint of butterscotch. You can make jam and pies with them, or just eat them fresh.

Posted - Mar 02 2008 : 4:19:42 PM I just read about those in Harrowsmith too! They sound really neat, and I'd be interested in whether anyone's grown them before too.

Posted - Mar 02 2008 : 12:44:09 PM I have never heard of ground cherries. They sound delicious though. If you get some keep us posted as to how they do.
