I was wondering what special way you celebrate Valentines day?

We usually go out to dinner but all the places are so crowded anymore. I'd love to do something at home and make the day special.

Ed and I also usually try to go out to dinner. Sometimes we go to a nice steakhouse, but they, along with most other nice restaurants, are getting expensive and crowded. We have our favorite local (or at least nearby) restaurants.

Warren and I usually do not celebrate Valentine's Day with anything special. I like to get out my vintage Valentines and decorate my little "everything season" tree and that is good enough for me.

The vintage Valentines are so nice and worth looking at year after year.

John and I don’t exchange gifts, usually. But we are very vocal about sharing our love for one another every day. I put out a few decorations but we usually stay in (our preference over being out in public!) We cook together and usually do an activity or play a game. :)

We don't do anything special anymore -- we don't need to :-)
DH never remember it; I put out a few decorations; love vintage valentines.

Mark and I love to just spend some quite time together, depending on what day of the week it is. We may go out to eat or just pick something up and come home. Now that he is retired, we spend a lot of time together. It is still special to just do something together. All of my beautiful Valentine cards that I have received so far from the farmgirls, are out and decorating my home.

We don't really have any traditions. I'm hoping for chocolate instead of flowers that will only last for a few days. If we don't go out, I will make something special for dinner.

We've stayed in before and I've made a special dinner and dessert. Sometimes we go out. But it seems crowded no matter where we go anymore.

Well, it's summer here in Australia - so, a glass of wine out on the deck in the cool of the evening. My husband says it's Valentine's Day every day in our house!! Yes, that sounds very sweet, but I also think that's his way of getting out of buying a gift.
