My snow angel is kinda pitiful compared to Snoopy’s, lol.
Here are a few pics of our snow Debbie. We haven’t been able to take one on the oceanfront yet because Huntington Beach SP has been closed to visitors. We will try again tomorrow.

Oh Wanda Sue I love your Snow Angel, it is great! And the photo with pond and snow is just so serene, really a great one.
Thank you for sharing.
How many inches do you think you got of snow?

Another pond in the neighborhood, and if you could zoom in to the yellow sign, you’ll read the warning about gators.
We usually have 2 or 3 that visit during the summer, and the only thing they seem interested in are people walking tiny dogs, so stay away when one is spotted.

Our house in the snow, we got about three inches of snow, it’s already thinning down because the sun was out today.

This is our storage yard where residents can store boats, trailers and campers. It’s the only large expanse of ground where i could show the snow. All of our yards are so tiny here, which is great, because we’re retired, we don’t have time to maintain a yard, lol.

Last pic of the day.
Per Jami’s request, I built her a small snowman with a sign. He became a sad little pirate snowman, because this girl ain’t as young and limber as she used to be, lol.

Thank you Debbie, we do have a cat, Merlin. He is an inside cat here, but when we visit in NC he can run free. We have only heard of one little dog that was attacked by the gator, but that was before we moved in. Word has it the owner let his dog out without a leash, and got busy working on something and not paying attention. No pet is supposed to run free here,or be tied outside, always leashed.

We continue to get snow. Seems almost everyday but not very much at a time. I'm fine with that. We still have our original 10 inches still. Today was the first day it was not in the single digits. It sure does look pretty.

Isn't it just wonderful to wake up to the snow, Wanda? Love your pictures - but it's kind of weird to see a palm tree and snow in the same picture LOL!

I wish I could say we have 10 inches on the ground! We didn't get that much to begin with. Before the arctic blast it warmed up and melted a lot of what we did have. We probably have a couple inches but in some spots you can see the grass (from the wind blowing it). Unfortunately it's been too cold for playing in it :) Here's what I do instead:

April - funny little story: I've wanted one of those little boxes for a couple years. I pointed one out at Hobby Lobby 2 Christmases ago then reminded my husband that he's hand enough to make me one this year. Instead a wonderful friend (who didn't even know I'd been wanting one) gave it to me for Christmas, along with those delicious sprinkles! I love it so much it's going to stay out all year. I hope you find a box to make one for yourself.

Snow here on our beautiful high desert last two 3 days, just so beautiful and I love the peace and calm it brings. This morning, our clouds parted, skies are blue, sun is rising and all the snow is sparkling as it casts a quiet upon our beautiful little corner of the world. More snow expected through friday, so I hope to embrace it's beauty and enjoy every beautiful flake that falls.

The worst part of winter:

We had a weird thunderstorm a couple nights ago - lots of thunder and lightning with sleet/hail then freezing rain. When we went out for milking there were little ice balls frozen under a layer of ice:

Luckily there was no wind and the ice melted by noon so we didn't need the generator :)

Then again this afternoon there was a thunderstorm with freezing rain - no iceballs this time. Everything is covered in a layer of ice and it's super slippery!!!! It's only supposed to be 33 tomorrow so I'm not sure if it'll melt or not. I'd really rather have snow!
