Just above 10 this morning. Whenever we get snow we also get flocks of bluebirds coming to the feeders. Yesterday we had a Goldfinch visit. We don't see them too often. We have a local woodpecker who visits the suet feeder quite often too.
We haven't see a snowstorm with the thunder and all that we had this past weekend in a very long time. Once in a great while we might have one when we were living in NJ. Apparently so many places are really getting it. Back home in NY they are have a real old fashioned winter like they had when we were kids. I bet the big hills are busy with kids sledding. At least I hope they are! |

| Debbie - don't worry about them LOL! They have their winter coats on and love playing in the snow. If it's windy they'll take shelter but if it's not and it's snowing they LOVE it as much as I do! They'll run around like little calves, and one ornery heifer was eating all the snow off of everything she she could get her tongue on. I tried to get her picture but she kept trying to eat my camera when I would get close. |

| We are on the melt down here... I'm ready for spring now... hoping to plant some veggie starter seeds indoors this weekend. Need some greenery here on our high desert. It doesn't usually defrost until end of May here, head starts are always welcomed!! :-) |
