It's hard to believe it's fall with this 95 degree days. We are cooling to 90 today. We were outside having a picnic supper last night and noticed there are no apples on the tree this year to pick. Also the top part of one of the maple trees has turned all brown. JT was watering my poor little Lilac bush as it was all droopy and all our flowering bushes are looking quite dry. The apple tree and magnolia have lost all their leaves already. That doesn't usually happen until November. We are in desperate need of rain. One of my azaleas looks like it has died. It is on the side where we don't see it and forget to water it. Hoping we can bring it back.
I've never been where it has ever gotten so dry. There is a promise of rain Tuesday. I sure hope it's a long day of soaking rain.
Maybe it will feel a bit more like fall. |

Hot and humid here today too! I hope we get some changes in October but that won't be until the later part of the month.
We are leaving today for Utah for a trip with Road Scholar to visit the national and state parks there. We will be home October 3. I was hoping for cooler weather but it will be 90 and upper 80s a portion of the week. Very similar to what Florida is right now. I can't seem to escape summer weather !! LOL!!!
Denise, I hope you get some rain soon. I would be happy to share some with you as we get some hefty showers a couple of times a week right now. Wild mushrooms are growing everywhere right now due to the weather conditions. |

Winnie, breaks my heart to see everything turning so quickly. We do get some dew in the morning and lots spiderweb being intricately made in thr nights. But that is about the only thing. The trees are getting bare fast. But I have never seen a tree drop green leaves like this.

It was clear here today got up to 56 and cloudy, normal weather .
It’s partly cloudy. now. Doesn’t ever change much here.

| I've been at a lovely retreat in the mountains for the past five days. The trees were starting to turn color up there. I came home to find out it will be 100 here tomorrow. I think it will be another month before it feels like fall. It is getting dark earlier. |

 Thankfully we have been having rain since 6 this morning. That's not even an hour ago it started but it is supposed to be in the 70s and rain all week. I never thought I'd be so happy to have it raining. So badly needed here. |

| I agree Denise. Two days now with morning rain. Yesterday there was thunder and lightning. All counties in KYare in level 1 drought, some worse than others. |

| We didn't get a lot of rain but I am hopeful as there is rain in the forecast for Thursday and over the weekend. Hoping we get it. |
