Halloween is fast approaching and a fun way to enjoy it is to BOO somebody.

For this swap you will need to create a Halloween container-this can be anything. A bowl cozy, a shopping tote, a fabric basket ….and fill it with treats for your partner. Again you are only limited to your imagination. Food treats, crafting supplies, anything you think your partner will enjoy.

Sign-ups are going to go to September 15. Mail out will be by October 15th.

Since we have an odd number for this swap, we will do a round robin swap. You will not send to the person who is sending to you

Julie mails to Wanda Sue
Wanda Sue mails to Debbie K.
Debbie K mails to Heather
Heather mails to Karen
Karen mails to Debbie F.
Debbie F mails to Laura
Laura mails to Julie

Have fun ladies.

Happy Booing.

Hi Julie :)

Can you please send me your mailing address sometime? I can't seem to find it in all the toddler fun that's happening here.

Thanks!

Karen - I finally made it to town yesterday. Your package is estimated to arrive Wednesday.

When I got back from town I had the most wonderful box from Debbie waiting for me:

Thank you so much Debbie! I absolutely LOVE the farm bag you made for me!!! I don't think I need to mention my feelings for the peeps LOL! The wooden spoon will get put to good use - maybe even on a recipe from the Gooseberry Harvest Kitchen cookbook :) The candy corn decoration is super cute (and currently hanging in my kitchen) and so is the blessed pumpkin towel. The pear candle smells wonderful. The only issue I'm having is trying to decide if I want to use the bag for my purse or use it for a project bag right now for Christmas projects that I grab when we have to run to town and I can wait in the truck and work while Nathan runs in and gets his parts....either way, thank you again, Debbie!!

I received my BOO package from Julie today. It was full to the brim too. She made me a cute Jack-o-lantern pillow and a fabric wall pocket made with a vintage cat pattern. So cute, and also an oversized paper clip bookmark with tassel. Also enclosed was a light up bat necklace, a felt Happy Halloween banner, some Halloween stickers, napkins and yummy snacks. AND haunted hand cream, an eyeball bath bomb and a spider headband. I wasn’t sure about the headband, but he has a sweet embroidered face so he is not too scary. Thank you Julie, I love it all!

Oh and Debbie K, you should be receiving your package by Monday.

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Hi Julie - just a quick note to let you know that your Boo-tiful package should arrive by Saturday. I have the tracking number just in case.

And Debbie - I opened my package - the suspense was getting to me. Oh what fun I found inside!

The tea cup arrived safely - and it's just lovely. Can't wait to do some fall baking with the pumpkin goodies and the kitchen towels. My sister and I have a road trip this weekend and the fall jelly bellies will be a sweet treat while driving. Thanks for all the sweetness you included!

Happy Boo to you all!

Laura

You're welcome, Karen! I had a lot of fun putting it together for you. I'm glad you like it - and that you can see the jack o lantern LOL!!

So you all know what we're talking about - under the ghost dishcloth is a knitted jack o lantern dishcloth. I haven't knitted in quite a while and my stitches weren't the best. It was a bit difficult to see the pattern through my uneven stitches LOL! I think I'll stick to crochet for Christmas gifts :)
