Getting close to Thanksgiving. We will have a small group of eight, four adults and four children. Getting things together to get made up on Wednesday so I won't be cooking on Thursday. Frying our turkey this year. Our son in law takes care of that. We will be hosting here. Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving! What does everyone else have planned. I know many do their get togethers the weekend before or after.

We are taking a friend with us to join another friend at his lake place. Every year they do a potluck Thanksgiving dinner with their neighbors and friends. It is all very casual and laid back and will be a nice way to spend the afternoon. Weather is supposed to be cool and not rain. The hosts already have all the meats and paper goods and cups . I think I will bring a fruit cobbler to off set the usual pumpkin pies.

The Christmas tree lots are up and the one at the school is full of trees as of yesterday. Public schools have the whole week off so I suspect trees will be going up this week while everyone is home.

I hope everyone here has a wonderful thanksgiving however you are celebrating it! I know I will start the day watching the Macy's big parade. It is a tradition for me. Any of you like to watch the parade too?

Ed and I are going to Ed's son's house where there will be around 13 - both sets of inlaws, siblings, and grandchildren on the Ballard side. It will probably be fun for our newest grandson, because he is definitely a people person. His dad said that on the airplane on the way back from London he stood Dawson up on the seat and when he saw all the people behind them his eyes lit up and he became very animated. LOL!
