Heather, I am reading the book you sent me When Jasmine Grows and last night I was reading the part where she is so tired from all the work and she is resting her head on the cow and fell asleep as she is milking. I chuckle thinking of you and wondering have you ever done that? I think I remember you get up at 3:30 to milk, seems like I surely would!

LOL! I know the feeling of being bone tired, but no I have not fallen asleep on my cows. I don't sit on a stool and milk them by hand like she does. If so I probably would have fallen asleep more than once during milking. We've only milked that early on rare occasions. We aim for milkers on at 6 am and 4:30 pm.

It's about to be rubber boot and pajama time for me! (We have 2 cows due to have their calves next week.) Unfortunately mine are just black. Those blue ones sure are pretty! Not that they would stay pretty for long LOL!

Julie - are they yellow? A few years ago I had a yellow pair with chickens on them. They ended up with a hole that I couldn't fix :(
