We had 2 new babies this evening. A black and white bull and a red and white heifer. Even though it's a few hours early we decided to name her Autumn. I haven't taken any pictures yet. They're still wet and being cleaned up by their mama's. I'll get some pictures in the morning :) That and some much needed rain make a great start to fall!

Here's the baby boy:

I was hoping this one would be a girl, Mama is one of my favorites.

And here's Autumn:

This was the first baby for mama and she's a wonderful mom!

Denise - it's thundering right now. Hopefully that means it'll be raining soon :)

Love the list, Debbie! Especially the "read and book and have a hot chocolate" part.

Heather thank you for sharing your new babies, they are so precious! I really like the brown one.

Debbie that is a great list!

Denise and Heather I do hope you get some rain soon, we need it as well.

What wonderful new babies Heather! And so happy for the first time momma. I love seeing the babies and mommas even though I know they can't stay together.

Debbie, that's a wonderful list!

I've watched it but some of it I don't care for and it's been a while since I've seen it.
I think it's on these lists because it starts out set in the fall of the year.

I didn't have the patience to sit through all the seasons of Gilmore Girls, but Denise is right, a small town in Connecticut with lots of coffee stops is archetypal fall setting. I tried turning on Spanish dubbing to work on my listening comprehension, which was an amusing contrast of telenovela dramatic vocals coming out of these wooden waspy characters. I am still mostly saying, "No entiendo," with (slightly less emotion) when hispanohablante neighbors address me. Maybe it is time to get back to it. Kelly Bishop (the grandma) has a biography out that would appeal if anyone is a Broadway/NYC theater/ballet enthusiast.
