Good Morning Wildflowers, here is John’s morning update on Karen:

Karen is doing really well. They have taken the drain out of her incision and is now only hooked up to one IV for fluids. She is still really tired and just wants to sleep and is frustrated with that. The doctor told her it is totally normal and will take at least a week for her body to remove all the anesthesia, especially with how long she was under. One doctor (surgeon) said she will probably get out of intensive care today and the other one said probably one more night. So we will see, but she is doing really good.
Such wonderful news, continued Prayers for her and John.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Update for Our Wildflower:

My morning update is now noon. Karen is good making steady progress. Goal for today is a little more walking!!! It’s also the little things, they let her brush her teeth this morning and it made her very happy, said she almost feels human. Probably another day or so. Physical therapy needs to come up more and they need to do some
evaluations so hoping we are free in a couple days. The neurologist said slow steady progress is the goal, little steps without getting tired out, especially for the next 6 weeks. We will probably stay a couple days in a hotel once we check out before driving home to get some more rest. So hopefully home by the weekend. #128515;

Continued healing and rest Karen, sending prayers, thoughts and love.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Karen has been released from the hospital. They will spend a couple of days at a hotel in Seattle until she is up to driving up home which is a four hour trip.
Doesn’t she look good? Her and John so happy.

So happy for you Karen, big hugs and continued prayers.
