Let’s remember Karen in our hearts, thoughts and prayers today as she travels to the hospital in Seattle. She will be in the hospital until at least Monday.

Just got an update on Karen from her hubby:
Karen just went back for embolization procedure. It could take up to 4+ hours so it will be a bit. He will let us know when she is out.
Then tomorrow she will have her brain surgery. She will go to ICU after surgery, she will be in the hospital until Monday for sure.
I will keep you posted.keep praying Wildflowers. |

Update on Karen from John:
Karen's procedure is done and I talked to the doctor. Everything went good and they got everything done they wanted too. She is awake and should be up in her room in an hour or so.
Answered prayers for sure. So happy this first part is over for you. |

Karen just went in for the second surgery this one is 6 plus hours.

Latest update on Karen:
Got an update from the nurse. The AVM is out so they are completing an angiogram to make sure they got everything. If that is the case they will be closing everything back up. So hopefully hear from the doctor in a couple of hours.

Woo, Hoo fabulous news from John:
Heard from the doctor things went good!!! They did need to give her some blood due to bleeding but she remained stable through out the procedure. I should get to see her in a couple of hours.
Continued prayers for a speedy recovery.

Amazing news on John’s update on our Sweet Karen:
She is doing much better this morning. She had a heck of a time coming out of surgery. But has made huge strides in gaining strength back on her left side and was up this morning and able to take a few steps and sit up and have breakfast!
