Just in case anyone comes by the project "room" in our henhouse, this summer (this whole year actually) my project is to learn a new skill, and for me that is going to be sewing.My challenge to you is to choose a skill for this summer and learn how to do it! It can be sewing, or crochet, or knitting, embroidery, or any other art you've always wanted to learn about!

Well my best laid plan was to learn how to sew this year. So far I've looked at my sewing machine. Soon, maybe I'll actually get it out of the case and maybe even throw caution to the wind and plug it in 
Seriously, I hope you're doing better than I am with our summer project. I'm not quitting though...I'm going to sew something soon, maybe with some of the new Mary Jane fabrics!
