I wanted to share with you the second journal I made for my friend of over 37 years. It is a Friendship journal full of memories over the years. I left pages for her to add photos and her memories. I really enjoyed making it and can not wait to start another journal.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Thank you so much. I can say it is a little better than my first, with each one I learn from my mistakes.
And yes my friend Karen loves it! She has been real sick so this made her feel special and put a smile on her face. I can not ask for more!

That's just lovely Debbie. It was a lot of loving work and you did a great job. I know your friend will treasure it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Makes me think of a private project Sunny58 and rubberfish and I did a few months ago We each made a journal book for ourselves and decorated a few pages in it. Then we sent it on to the next person for a few more pages. After the third player finished her pages, the journal was returned to the original creator. Fun project and my journal turned out absolutely awesome. A fun way to play with junk journals -- perhaps a Hen House idea ??

What a fun project for next month, what do you think Wildflowers? Of course Jean would be the lead on this one as she is just a great teacher.
So, I am up for the challenge!

Beautiful Debbie!! Your journal is a wonderful keepsake, she is going to love it.

Jean and Debbie, that project sounds interesting, I would join in on that.

Alrighty then . . . Mama Hen and I have a plan. In a few weeks, y'all will start getting a little surprise with instructions by snail mail. Once things are underway and you've received your special thingy, more instructions will appear here. In the meantime, start thinking -- "Who Am I" or "How can I share who I am" . . . . Yes, you'll be getting the book. But what you do with it is up to you . . . Get those creative engines primed and ready to rock and roll.

What a fabulous journal, Debbie!

I'm not sure about this one....I'm not getting to spend as much time in the house as I was hoping to this winter, and we're going to have to buy hay soon. So, if this is going to require a lot of time and trips to the post office to swap with everyone I'm going to have to just enjoy seeing all your creations.

Hey Heather . . . not to worry. What you'll receive (regardless of whether you decide to play) is YOUR own personal Journal to do with as you wish. If you decide to play, your only commitment is ONE PAGE . . . that should be do-able even with a busy schedule. We're traaveling a little outside the boxcar here, but it should be easy, fun, and definitely worth stretching our creative juices just a tad. After all, we are Wildflowers and learn to grow anywhere no matter what the conditions, right ??

Hahahaha . . . everyone is included and will get their little Wildflower journal. "How" they play (of "if" they play) is entirely up to them . . . stick with us . . . . you'll see . . .

Hi gang! Debbie, I adore your journal! Ypur friend will love it so much! Like April said, handmade gifts are the best!!

Jean, I had so much fun participating in that 3 way journal event! I have my journal right by my bedside and look at it often! I treasure the pages you and Barbie did! It's priceless. I had originally created the journal to be gifted but once we all finished each others journals, I loved it so much I had to keep it for myself!!

I won't be able to play this time unfortunately. There are other pressing matters at hand, not arting for a while unless its easy and quick.

I can not wait to see everyone's creativity! :)

Debbie,
That is a lovely journal and I am sure your friend will love it!
I have been working on a bit of a different journal from what I usually do. This one I just decorate one page at a time with whatever using a blank journal. This is for me to keep when I am finished.

Here is a photo I took of the first page I did just to give you an idea.

Such a lovely creation! I think junk journals are beautiful creations, but like many of you have already said, I just don't have the time or patience to create one myself. However, this secret project idea is intriguing and I am definitely game to give it a try!
