Darlene, you have your hands full right now trying to catch up from Nature's bad behavior! How is your area doing with these awful rain events? I hope you are OK where you are at.

Bonnie, I love your idea of New Years suggestions!! Sometimes a more gentle approach is better because then we don't get into that self criticism that isn't helpful at all.

Isn't to fascinating how many of us have the same struggles with projects and stuff that we keep for potential projects? I wonder if this is common in other countries?? My guess is maybe in the wealthier nations only.

So far so good where I am at! The River is ok here at the moment, I believe it’s supposed to be letting up in the next week or so! I hope.
Thank you
Darlene

Hello everyone,

Good to catch up. School break for a bit ... trying to catch up on my sleep and tidying up my life. It's also busy with Pumpkin's wedding coming up next weekend. Excited and stressed at the same time. Love that kid so much.

I've been trying to finish up some project ... kind of creating some mental space. I'll be back in school full time and working full time in a couple of weeks. Trying to make the most of it before my life is taken over. I am enjoying school.

Hoping everyone is safe from Mother Nature's various systems.

Farmgirl hugs,

Carole

Where are you working now, Carole? Nice that school is enjoyable for you.

I've been working on UFOs and have finished 5 so far - I've been on a roll. I have quite a few quilts that need binding and am sandwiching those between other knit, crochet, and fabric projects.

Good to hear from you Carole.
I don't know how you do both work and school full time. It must be exhausting.

Congratulations on Pumpkin's wedding!

Carole, so good to hear from you and congratulations on the upcoming marriage of Pumpkin! So exciting, but yes so busy at the same time. Glad you are doing well and also enjoying school. Post of a photo of the bride when things settle back down for you.

Today I applied for 3 badges. I haven't applied for any in a few years and it's time to get caught up. They will probably think I made a mistake where I put 2020 for the year I started!
