Bonnie, I'm sorry you and your hubby were both in the hospital. Get well soon or feeling stronger and better each day. God bless you.
I love all of the autumn decorations. Good work and great collections everyone.
Winnie, in your first photo of the tree, it has a garland of pom poms...did you make it?q
I love it! Such pretty autumn colors. Soooo soft!

My autumn decor??? I have not found where I stashed it away. I finally took the wreath off the back door. It said Welcome Spring! Yes I know that is bad. Slowly, very slowly I'm TRYING to clean and toss and get my house back in order again. It is slow when you must stop and rest so often. But slow and sure is how the tortoise won the race. Right???

I understand totally Marilyn; I'm not much older than you. I don't decorate anymore. Takes too long to find things, put them out, then put them away and I'm the only one who appreciates or even notices them. I have many aches and pains and I need to save the energy for important things like cleaning house and cooking.

Judith, I had done so good for almost a whole week. Then tonight while cooking supper the pain returned with a vengeance. I am going to have to use my crock pot for supper. It is hard to teach this old dog new tricks but it has to be done. Standing for long periods of time is a no no for me. My old house is built on pier and beam , so I'm not on concrete. 15 or 20 minutes then rest. House work...the same thing.

Marilyn -- same here. I use the InstantPot for dinner a lot. Vacuuming is pure hell. My cleaning lady left a year ago due to getting a full time job and I'm looking for another one. I'm glad cooler weather is here now so I can go out and walk more as it really does help the back. It's like I remember my mother saying "The golden years -- bah humbug!"

Walking is the best exercise for everything. There is no need to do any other kind as long as you are walking. Though I enjoy dancing and that is great exercise too. As long as it is fun there is no need to cause yourself pain with exercise.
