I just found a cookbook of my mother's called "A Taste of White House Cooking". It is a small 14-page booklet that was given out from an Illinois Congressman. It was published in 1975 and has recipe favorites of past presidents and their wives - Washintgon, Adams, Madison, Lincoln, Grant, Harrison, Edith Roosevelt, Taft, Wilson, Coolidge, Hoover, Eleanor Roosevelt,Trumab, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, and Reagan.
Only 1 recipe in the book used apples - and here it is - Mrs. Truman's Ozark Pudding. There are lots of very interesting recipes and I'd like to try several of them.
