Judith so glad your eye have improved! :)

I enjoy needle punching! I’m not super good at it but it’s definitely a relaxing thing to do!! Have fun with it.

When I get to that project I will post. I know I have way too many fabric scraps.

The backing for the Christmas quilt I am getting together is going to be pieced with parger pieces of CHristmas fabric because the quilt will be about 100" x 100" - almost king size. I need to make a huge probably uneven 9-patch for the back. LOL!

I made three of the "I found a quilted heart" hearts today using leftover fabric from the patriotic aprons. Now I will have to wait until I go somewhere to place them.

Judith, those hearts turned out adorable!! I love h ow you embellished them too. Isn't it amazing what can be made from scraps?? They might look cute in a little basket or wooden bowl.

I have been watching tons of videos lately on different types of papercrafting. Enjoying it but it sure can eat up a lot of time. Does anyone else do any type of this other than cardmaking? There seem to be alot of different things that can be done.

Denise -- I make ATCs, artist trading cards, and at least for me it is time consuming, probably because I'm not terribly artistic. When my ATC group does a weekend card making I see some people turning out several beautiful cards in the time it takes me to make a mediocre one so maybe it depends on the person. You have to take into consideration taking out all the crafting stuff, thinking up ideas, time spent making the items, and cleaning up and putting away the crafting stuff. Kind of like painting a room where the actual painting is only a part of the job.

There are so many different ways to papercraft. I started out as a card maker. My favorite thing to make though is mini-albums and “folios” (which is really just another word for mini-album)! I also cover chipboard to make boxes, home decor, and banners. My hubby is still working from home everyday. Our house is very small, 960 square feet, so I hang out in my craft room all day. I can’t clean, vacuum, do dishes, etc because he is working. I know it’s a bummer but someone has to do it!! Lol. While working in my craft room, I watch/listen to You Tube. This gives me more ideas to craft! :)

You tube is wonderful for learning new crafts and techniques. I bought some Gelatos and didn't have a clue what to do with them so did a search on You tube. You really have to watch out -- You tube can really be addictive and waste many hours until you realize it's 8pm and dinner isn't even started let alone ready.

I spend a lot of time on You Tube it really helped with craft things and really helped me with information on my knee surgery! There are two orthopedic doctors, called Talking with Docs, that will give helpful information when you ask them and also bring other doctors on to talk about health information. The other doctor I found on there has a practice in Florida is an endocrinologist, he works with diabetes and it has been very helpful. His channel is SugarMDs.
I found a channel on there where a lady does paper crafts. She makes all sorts of things out of paper. She is called the posh paper lady.
She was showing all kinds of adhesives she uses. A very nice lady.
I went on Pinterest a few times, it is hard to get away from there. So much to see.
Hugs

Does anyone go from craft to craft at times? Sometimes all I want to do is cross stitch then it changes to quilting or papercrafting or knitting, etc. It's like whatever it is, is the addiction at the moment. Lol

Yes yes yes! I find going from one to another keeps me from getting bored. LOL! My mother always had a huge drawer of an old buffet full of cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, and crewel projects she needed to do. She also sewed on her sewing machine a lot!! I, myself, always have a lot of quilting projects and craft/gift projects to make. I have a sweater I started knitting about 15 years ago - still not done. All I need to finish are the sleeves - now where did I put that??

I have an americana cross stitch that I work on every year for a little while and then get bored. It's been quite a few years doing it. I always think I'll get a lot done but it takes a long time to do a little.

I'm always going from one crafty project to another; sometimes several at once and then I'll get tired of it all and sit down and read a book.
