Y leg is healing I’d. And am in Copper Ridge, I was wondering if u had sent any cards here Because I haven’t gotten any since hose cars and just checking became they have five wings or more here and didn’t want the mail to get lost.
Just letting you know. I will probably be here until January 21.
My IPad is working badly.

| Mail is undependable right now. I received two Christmas cards today. I checked the postmarks to see how long it took them and the postmark just gave December 2021, no date. Apparently the PO doesn't want us to know how long it takes. |

I believe that the mail lady in Loleta has been doing most of the work in our post office and she has had packages surrounding her day after day since Covid started and Christmas is big there anyway. and the post office say they need workers but barely ever get her extra help when it gets that way. She is a tiny lady but she gets it all done. I don’t like how the postal system is but she does a great job for our little town!

Darlene's zip code is 96002. I posted it above as 96001. That was what was on my email. Maybe it was a typo, nevertheless I'm so sorry. Her Christmas card came back to me today. I just sent a package and I guess it will come back too.

Yes I found out that Redding has several zip codes,
Copper Ridge where I am staying is in. The 96002 zip code. Area.
I will be here that I know for sure until January 24 when my next Post op with the doctor or who ever I see.
I need to be home after that.

Do not rush it. Go home when you are strong and can get around all by yourself. It has been 12 or
13 years since my first knee replacement.One year less for the second one. It has been 4 or 5 years since I fell and booadly injured that right leg. This morning was not good. As I was trying, to get up I must have asked that leg to do more than it wanted to do.
Guess what...I went to the floor. My right leg was twisted and all I could think of was last time. So quickly I began to talk to God...finally I was able to free that leg, and get it in front of me...but I was on the floor for almost two hours. My son and grand daughter saved me once more. Thank goodness nothing is broken or ripped or torn.

Marilyn, I hope you don't have any damage from that fall. I fell a couple of weeks ago inside the house and surprised myself. Mostly bruised and hurt my pride. (getting old is not for sissies). I am more afraid of falling on the ice.

So sorry to hear about your fall, Marilyn. Hugs and prayers. Sounds like you need to carry your cell phone with you at all times, so you can call for help. No need to have to wait 2 hours. Take care of yourself.
