Good Morning Wildflowers and Happy November! Whew, what happened to October? I hope everyone had a wonderful October and are looking forward to November and Thanksgiving.
Okay I love Thanksgiving, to me it it a time for thanks and being with family. We just found out this weekend that our nephew who is a Marine stationed in San Diego and his wife will be spending Thanksgiving with us. We are overjoyed and so blessed to be able to have them here with us.
What are your special plans for the month and who will you be sharing your Thanksgiving with?

I hope that November will be a new beginning for us. We put an offer on a home this week end and it was accepted. We are so happy, but we just have one contingency to get through and inspection, so those two things will determine whether the home will be ours. Prayers and good thoughts please that this one is the one!

Have a Beautiful, Blessed and Special November my sweet Farmgirl Sisters.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Same greetings to you Debbie.
Is the home you have found near the beach or is it inland.

Happy November!
So happy to hear you've found a home Debbie. Prayers all goes through for you.
We hope to have my brother in law and nephew with us for Thanksgiving. We will also spend it with Leslie and her family. We always have something to be thankful for!

Deb, that is great news! I hope all will go through for with this home for you!
We had a beautiful, rainy fall day. I got to spend it at my desk paying bills, etc., but that was ok. My husband just ran up to my daughter's house to get some of the chili and cornbread that she made for supper and she is sharing. Perfect meal for a cold day!
We will be leaving within the week to go to our place in Montana for most of the month. Our daughter and SIL and their 2 little girls will be coming up to have Thanksgiving with us. There is much rain and snow in their forecast already. This is the first year that Brad didn't draw an elk or deer tag so we will have more time to relax and work on fun projects while we're up there, so I'm looking forward to that!

November is welcoming us with temps in the 40s this week but then what a surprise we will be in the 60s next week for a few days.
I am so thankful for those things that have fallen into place for us here. Hope to see some of our family for Thanksgiving. Keeping those who will be far away in our hearts and thoughts.

Our weather is cooler but not like yours Denise. We are in the low 60s, today as the clouds roll in and hides the sun, our temps fall into the lower 50s. By Thursday our rain is gone and we finish the week in the 60s. Next week we will be in the 70s.
Now I should not get excited...because every morning when I check the forecast it is changed, usually going lower.
November, do you think there will be any turkeys???

Marilyn, the home is more inland about 35 minutes from the beach which is not bad. We just can not find anything closer. We are real close to the Coquille River too so I can still go fishing.
We saw wild turkeys last month on the road was on our way to Eugene, quite a few. And we already have bought our Turkey for Thanksgiving.
So happy to read all of us will have some family with us for Thanksgiving. Denise I know it will be bittersweet not to have Jessie and her family with you this Thanksgiving as well as your son, but great that you will be with your daughter and her family.
How wonderful you will be in Montana Debbie with your family, I love Montana it is beautiful. Thought at one point we might have moved to Montana but Oregon and the ocean called to us.
The weather has been rainy but yesterday and was so pretty and warm and today will be as well. Then more rain, which we s great as we have so much to do with a move hopefully coming soon. Closing is January 6, so we have some time to do sorting etc.
Take care ladies and have a Beautiful week.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie,
I guess as in different seasons of nature so different seasons of life have changes too. I sure do miss Jessie and her crew. They were with us when all the littles were babies. But I enjoy spending time with Leslie and her family and the little ones here are growing fast. I hope Jess will come for visits and our son as time and schedules allow. Bittersweet are the holidays as we always spent them together.

I am hoping we have snow for Christmas this year here. We haven't had it at Christmas since we left Virginia. That was 31 years ago.
I am truly enjoying our Fall this year! It's so beautiful here and the trees are so pretty.

I am so sad and miserable, we had to terminate the contract on the house.
Just so unhappy. I am going to try and take a nap. I will check in later.

Oh Debbie I am so sorry. I know how badly you desire to have a place of your own. Sending hugs and I will continue to keep this in prayer. God must have something better for you.

Hello dear Sisters! How is everyone doing? Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week???? What is on everyone's menu? I need to start really putting some thought into that! I think I have the majority of my menu planned, but I need to figure out pies. Any suggestions???

We are having pumpkin, apple, and my daughter is using butternut squash to make her pumpkin pie recipe and a Snickers pie. I'll only be eating pumpkin pie.
