Good morning girls,
We have a new member joining us as soon as Brian gets her in here.

Oh, Golly is my face red...Thank you all for your kind welcoming I greatly appreciate it.
I have rediscovered my sewing/embroidery machine after it being lost in limbo for 6+ yrs. And now I am just beginning to resurface and enjoy the world. LoL I am having sew much fun stitching it is wonderful to say the least.
I have started to take part in swaps and reading the different conversations and getting to know everyone which is so fun. I feel as though I know many of you ladies already and enjoy your posts.
I am a widow, grandmother, and great grandmother. I live with a Jack Russell who is young and busy much to the disgust of my 14 yr old exotic cat and the 7 yr old guinea pig. I just thought we old gals needed a young guy to shake up our staid old home a bit. So off I went to my local rescue shelter and found this lovely, busy guy who needed a home and asked him if he would like to come live with me and of course, he said YES, silly boy, LoL
So my home isn't quite so quiet but so much more fun, to say the least.
I received my first sewing machine when I was 5yrs old for Christmas and I have sewn ever since. I do all kinds of quilting, handwork and enjoy most all home-body stuff except housework, don't like that much.

Kathy, I loved reading your story, because of your Jack Russell terrier!
We have a new pup too. She is a Schnauzer, but not a miniature. Nothing is safe!
Thankfully, she has trained me to get up at 6:15 each morning to let her out to pee.
When I get busy and somehow " forget" how much time has passed, she may leave a puddle, to remind me. She is sweet, but so hyper active, when not asleep!
I also loved your sewing story. I love to sew and paint. Housework...not so much!
