Well for us it has brought the snowplows back out! Looks like we are being hit by another snow storm! Hoping everyone is doing well!

Some day! Someday! Hopefully soon, the snow will melt and stop falling until late next autumn.
I know you are tired of the white landscape, Shannon. God bless you.

I'd say May flowers but our have been blooming for a while now. Our magnolia tree is already losing its blossoms to get ready for the leaves to come out and the white blossoms that show up on it in summer. Seems Spring is speeding by. Hopefully not to quickly into the heat of summer. Though I know you'd settle for no snow Shannon!

I stated earlier today that it was 90° with a horrid wind. When my son came by at 5:30 pm. He said our high today was actually 95°. The wind was so gusty, up to 45 mph. That was to be turned off at ten...But someone forgot, I guess. It is 11:38 pm and still gusty.

Wow! We had wind and snow, quite a blizzard. Guess everyone got a little something.
We have no spring flowers yet, it will be a bit longer her at almost 9000 feet.
I can not wait though for our Mountain Wildflowers to start to bloom!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

I remember, about 23 yrs. ago going with my sister to Lake Tahoe. My sister works hard at vacationing. It was not fun because I got sick immediately...overload of cigarette smoke from our hotel lobby casino. One trip through that mess was all it took. But what I remember was how tall the Shasta daisies were...in fact all of the flowers were taller than here in Texas. I remember that in late June it was cool with sunshine.
Much like the trip to Wisconsin about 20 years ago. Also late June and the iris were blooming, the trees were extra tall, and it was cold. Someone forgot to tell those girls up there it was too cold to wear shorts. So they wore sweatshirts and coats with their shorts.
We were bundled up as if we were at home in the dead of winter.

We had strong winds and thunder storms last night..Just north of us in Minnesota the snow was tinged with a red dust. It is said to be dust from NW Texas. Wow. That is some storm!

Marilyn, I know I have told you this before but I love your stories and I know you have many more to tell. You are so lucky I do not live close to you. I would be over everyday for coffee or tea and have you tell me as many as you wanted
I sure hope you keep journals to leave them for your grandchildren, what treasures they will be. I think I will invest in your other books for our little Luella, so do not be Surprised if they arrive at your door for your autograph and another story.
Thank you so much you are a Jewel to me!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie, that is so sweet. You are very kind. If I lived near you we would never get anything done, except tea and visiting. Ha! Hugs and love from me to you.

Pink snow???!!! I remember that red sand. It stings your face. If your clothes are in the clothes line, they will forever be stained.
