Denise, some where in this crazy day, I received your lovely package of Valentine goodies. I am excited about the project you sent to me. Tomorrow I will take a photo and post it, so everyone can see. Thank you so much.

Saturday is our town day. We got groceries, then Had and my husband ate barbeque. I waited until we got home and had a bowl of the mushroom soup I made yesterday...It was calling my name...YUM! Then off to water horses and clean up after the three amigos, the three black calves. They had gotten into the tac room, turned over a barrel of horse feed and eaten a bunch but spilled also. That had to be cleaned up. They had also been in the apartment, eaten horse feed from a bag and gotten into the alfalfa cubes too. So that was another clean up. Then they chose to leave me some poop to scrape up off the alley mats. Then I blew the two alleys out with my fun 'blower' and watered. Then the chickens needed some care and eggs had to be gathered and put away. Next I took left over fried chicken, cheese that our neighbor left, and broiled eggs to the barn to feed the big dogs...because they were hungry and my son and his family were gone. That was a disaster. Everything went well at first but finally Lacey the cow dog came too close to Bear, the great Pyrenees and on my! I was screaming at him to stop. He was growling and had her pinned down. Finally sanity returned to him. I closed the apartment door with Bear inside and fed lacey and Shadow out in the alley. I was still shaking when I tried to latch that heavy chain across the alley. As I struggled I heard a man's voice coming from my phone. The screen was dark, so I went on talking to the dogs, finally got the chain latched and then the phone rang. I did not recognize the local number but I answered. It was the sheriff's office...calling to see if I was ok...because my phone had called an emergency number while I was struggling with the chain! Lesson learned, I can not carry that phone in my hand when outside. After attempting to explain to the deputy what was going on, I came to the house to fix supper...long past dark. So tomorrow I will take the photo.

He was hungry! Bear was as Hungry as a bear. He is such a loving dog, but when he stands on his back legs, he is as tall as me. I am 5'7" tall. Thankfully he has not shown me how tall he is in almost a month. I never dreamed he would become so enormous.

Ok girls...here it is! This is the Valentine I received from from Denise! I never thought of sending something to stitch along with both iron on transfers and thread too! I love it! The transfers remind me of being young! Learning to use a needle and thread! Thank you Denise, for all of that and the clings and the napkins. The towel is quite pretty. Thanks.
