Whew, Denise, this March has been quite the month for those Nor'easters!! They can be as treacherous as low level hurricanes and I know everyone will be thankful when the sun comes out again. Hopefully now you have power again. It is a hardship in today's age to not have power as everything we do depends on it. I know last Fall's week without power due to Hurricane Irma was awful!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Power came back on in the night last night. It was only rough at night because the one woodstove we were using for heat is down in the family room so it was plenty cold at night. I am always cold so I bundled up well to go to bed. LOL.
I forgot in all the midst of getting busy this morning that I had a dentist appt. They called and though I could see who it was I couldn't answer the phone because it hadn't charged enough yet. Fortunately I called from my cell and since it was only a few minutes for me get there they still took me. So grateful for that. It was just my normal routine checkup but they book those appts. 6 months ahead of time.

Winnie, I agree we don't really realize how much so much of what we do depends on electricity. Though I did make breakfast and lunch and coffee on the wood stove. I have a percolator I use when camping so that came in handy.

I am glad you got to your Dentist appointment all right, that can be such a mess when appointments are missed.
Take care Denise and stay warm.

Hugs to you all.

We haven't put anything on Facebook and aren't going to but we are expecting our 7th grandchildren in October. I'm so excited. It is my second born daughter, Leslie. They have the three little girls, Annie, Emily and Violet. Looking forward to another babe to hold!

Thank you. I knew they wanted another and even though it's number 7 grandchild I still just get so excited about a new baby. Keep her in prayer please. She has had a lot of morning sickness with this one.

Congratulations, Denise! It will be exciting to welcome a new family member.

We are leaving on a trip to Italy this Saturday through April 16. It is a cruise with the Grand Circle Tour company. This trip is on a small ship that starts in Venice a,d goes down the eastern coast of Italy, along the Adriatic Ocean side and then around the boot to Sicily and ending in Malta. Lots of new places to see and explore. We are also going to be joining some friends we have made from past trips which will be special as well. We all were together last year on our Spain trip with the same company and had a blast.. We arrive in Venice on Easter Sunday and I hope we can catch a bit of their Easter celebrations. I will have WiFi, but usually it is spotty so you may not see me around much. I will try and keep up with life here but just in case you don't hear from me, I will be back after April 16.

I hope everyone has a beautiful and blessed Easter weekend!

That sounds wonderful, Winnie. I will definitely look into that cruise line. Our China cruise is on a Viking River Ship. Enjoy your trip!

Winnie what a neat trip, I can hardly wait to see pictures of your trip, especially of Sicily and all. My father's family is from those areas and Southern Italy. That is all I know of his side so it would be good to see photos from there and all others to. Have a great time
Blessings and prayers for safe travel.

hugs and love for you all.

Denise, So exciting for your daughter and her family :)! I'm sorry she is having morning sickness, is there something she can take for it? When will this little be born? Love new babies - we are in the great grand stage of our lives, which is so hard to believe!
Winnie, your trip sounds amazing! I would love to go to Italy, and on a cruise sounds like the best way to do it! That way you don't have to unpack/pack every day, I'm getting to old for that :)!
Have an awesome time, eat some Italian food for me please - yummy

Ruth,
She is due in October. The 24th but Leslie's birthday is the 19th and she has to have a c section they think, so they are thinking sometime around the 17th.
