That's wonderful, Bonnie.
My sister and I have become closer since we have become adults. She is 8 years younger than I, so we were in two different eras. She and I definitely have different ideas on many subjects, but we can tell each other anything. |

I'm happy for each of you who have sister's to talk to and enjoy. My sister is alive. She lives in the big city. Last summer she got married again...something she told me she would never ever do again. When I saw it on facebook, I asked why she did not tell me. She deleted my comment and unfriended me. I sent her some photos And clippings from the news paper of her, but no response. I sent her a birthday card, no response. So I won't bother her again.
And you know what...I am so thankful that God gave me my hen house sisters. I love you all. |

I'm so sorry Marilyn. That is so sad. She is missing out on something very special. I, too, am glad I have everyone in the henhouse. I feel bad posting these for those who don't have sisters or a good relationship with their sister.
Just remember we are all sisters because we chose to be part of this group. I have come to love you all and think of all of us in this henhouse as a Big Happy extended family. We are there for each other to encourage, laugh, and pray with. Thank You to Mary Jane for getting this all started. Little did she know how much it would touch and help so many of us.

That is very sad, Marilyn. My sister and I are not as close as we used to be, but we still keep in touch. She lives in California so we don't get to see each other much.
