This is not our field, but it is right behind our house.

Before:

After:

The second one is taken from our second story window. The field looks so pretty now with it's mounds of hay. You can see some of our garden in this picture also.

Shannon that is very sad! I think it must be worse for you, but I know how it is being on the edge of internet connectivity! Very frustrating.

I found this picture that my son took of the canyon behind his house...I love the sagebrush and juniper! The flowers in the forefront are wild yarrow. This is directly behind our farm property, they both join together, so this is the back edge of the property.

Debbie what a beautiful picture! I love rolling landscapes. I've only lived in the Midwest which is pretty flat! I'm reading (re-reading) Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea series, and one of the characters is names Yarrow.

I've been processing zucchini all morning. 4 loaves of zucchini bread, and 4 zucchini pizza crusts for tonight's dinner. I like the zucchini pizza crust because it's low-carb, but honestly it tastes better than any other pizza crust I've had!

Awesome! This is by far my favorite crust for pizza. The recipe is from Kalyn's Kitchen.

http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2012/08/zucchini-crust-pizza-margherita.html

I've made the sauce in this recipe, but any pizza sauce will work, and whatever toppings you like.

Debbie, I'm swimming in zucchini! Mamma mia. I made zucchini lasagna on Sunday, the pizza crust again last night, and zucchini bread again this morning! Jason also brought some to work to give away, and I still have 7 sitting on my counter.

This is a picture my husband took on Saturday. The little field behind our house was full of sunflowers last year. This year there are only 3. I'm not sure why that is. I'm surprised since we haven't done much with that little field. I would've thought they would come back. Here's a pretty picture of one, anyway. :)

I took this picture in a graveyard outside of the church we use for our homeschool co-op on Mondays. I was walking Rory around in the stroller so he would fall asleep when I saw this.

I had to share it with you. It was very touching.

Beautiful pictures! I will have to get some soon. That is a beautiful saying.
I will share a picture of my girls.
This next one is behind our back pasture.

Love all the pictures, I too love sunflowers. When we lived in Germany you would just see fields of them everywhere, just beautiful!
Love the saying and I know so true!

We did end up getting quite a few more sunflowers. I guess I was just impatient! Here's the link for the zucchini pizza crust, Debbie.
