I thought it would be fun to have a thread to post in when we submit for our badges!! A place to give ourselves a little "atta' girl".

And of course, an easy place for us to give our fellow Wildflower's a high-five when they submit a badge request.

Good for you! You'll probably find that once you start working on badges and applying for them you just want to keep going! This is a great idea...I tend to put applying off and then have a bunch to do at once. I love the posting picture idea, too!

Nicely done Bridge!!!!

Debbie - I do the same thing!!!! I feel so bad for Brian and MaryJane, or whoever reads them, as I submit a bunch all at once!!! In fact, I need to again, lol

Do you know if they only do them at a certain time each month? I applied for a BUNCH at the end of February and only heard back on about half.

Way to go Bridge! I think that was the first badge I submitted also!

Debbie I think they do have specific times that they review badges. I have one I submitted a week or two ago that hasn't come through yet either. (One... lol..) You've been a badge champion lately! I can't believe how many you've applied for! You and Shannon are both quite an inspiration. I saw Joyce put in for bunch a while back too. Love the Atta Girl idea!!

I think this will be a great motivation for me to apply on a more "regular" basis....instead of bombarding the office a couple times a year!!!

Thank you, girls! When I find myself waking up at 5 am...or laying awake at night, thinking of badges I need to apply for...it's time to get it done! Much better sleep that way!

Shannon! You are slaying with the badges! I'm calling you out! :)

How do the young cultivator badges work? How do you submit them? Do you pay any extra to have your kids do them or is it just covered under your membership?

Erin - it is completely covered under your badges... If you go to "Earn Farmgirl Sisterhood Merit Badges", click "Go to Young Cultivator Categories" then click "Apply for Young Cultivator Merit Badges"

I STILL have not applied for any for my kids (smh is shame!)

I printed them out a while ago. I noticed there were some they definitely had already done. I should start submitting them. I don't know how into it my boys would be, but I definitely want to start with my daughter.

Yesterday I submitted Unprocessed Kitchen, Intermediate, and Candle Making, Beginner. I really wanted to put in for Mosaics, Beginner, Intermediate and Expert, but my ipad wouldn't let me take any pictures due to storage problems! What a bummer. I think I fixed it by deleting some unused apps, but it's raining today. Two of the things I wanted to take a picture of are outside. Maybe I'll do it anyway. I'm in the mood to get some badges!

I submitted my badge requests for beginner, intermediate, and expert Mosaics. Here are my projects, in order.

Beginner is a stepping stone. I have made more than one, and plan on doing more, but here's one of them.

Intermediate is a concrete birdbath, that we rescued from someone's porch. They were using it as an ashtray. It looks much better now, although it is a little dirty in the bath part. I took these pictures just before it started raining, again!

Expert is a counter in my kitchen.

The stone tile was pre-cut, but I cut the glass myself from 12x12 tile.
