Hello everyone,

I am a new wildflower :)
I live in Southern Indiana, I am a IT Engineer by day and a farmgirl by heart!!

I love to cross stitch, gardening, craft, read, sew. This list can go on forever and ever....I love to do all kinds of stuff. I have made my own soap & I can foods. I just need somebody to give me more hours in a day!!
Cross stitch is my big love at the moment. I am also gearing up to plant some seeds. Gardening has been a challenge as we currently reside in town, we own two country parcels (I know insane.....and truly sucks!!) I don't garden a lot in town, cause everyone is in your business and they let there kids run like wild Indians. Last summer the older neighbor gentleman caught the kids picking and throwing all his tomatoes in the ditch at the minnows. {Rolling eyes}
I could plant at future homesite, but I would most likely just be making a "Golden Corral" for the deer! So for now I keep it small and in pots close to the house.I am a 40ish gal, live with my DH. No kids, two outside cats. I have worked with the same company for 25 years.
My future plans including building a small cabin, off the grid as much as DH will let me. Then I would like to semi-retire and do some type of part time online work for pocket change.

Hello Bridgette!
You and I sound like we like to do the same kinds of things! What kind of cross stitch project are you working on right now?

Hi Bridgette! So happy you're here with us! I hear you about there not being enough hours in the day. It'll be great to get to know you. Jump in wherever you want to. There are some monthly swaps and badges that are organized by Shannon. If you have any ideas for anything else (swaps, badges, whatever) just feel free to post it in the project discussions.

Beautiful! I love cross stitch too. I haven't done any in months, but I was working on a Jane Austen quote with a house in the background. You may inspired me to pick it up again! ;)

Hi, Bridge! Welcome! So glad you decided to join the Wildflowers!
I've followed your posts, blog and love your cross stitching. I used to do alot of that, but changed to different needle arts, I guess. Have to try everything at least once!
