I have an idea....I would love to have a journal with all hand written notes in it by my far girl sisters. What do you think? I was thinking of two ways to do this. We can each send a journal around and write directly in it, or, we could each write and decorate a piece of paper specifically for the journal that would be glued in it. We can then read our journals whenever we need encouragement. What do you think?

I LOVE this idea!!!! If we did it on regular paper, we could also put the sheets in plastic sheet protectors in a binder that we decorate... And then if something gets lost in the mail, it would only be those pages, rather than the whole journal. We could send it in a large envelope so the pages are not bent...

Yes, I was thinking it would also be cheaper in terms of postage. I have a homemade journal that I made...and I'd love to add it in there. If we tell everyone what size we are putting it in, then we can tailor it to everyone's personal fit. Hopefully more people will be interested!!

You girls are so creative! I love this idea! Whatever you decide is fine...we could do individual pages or send the journals in the mail. I have a Farmgirl Planner that I got on the MJF website that might work well...it has blank pages in it and then I could have it all in one place.

I think aesthetically I would like it better if they were smaller pages maybe 5 x 7 that we could put in a book ourselves. But that's just my two cents. :)

OK - here's what we'll do. I think if everyone could tell us what size we want our fellow Wildflowers to write on, we can each cut a paper to that size, then decorate and embellish it. Maybe we could also share some of our favourite colours, things we collect, interests etc. so we can tailor each journal page for each person. I'm going to make mine 5x7, and I'm going to put it on a binder ring so my journal will be a bit different, but this way I can add if more Wildflowers join our group. Here's my info: yellow if my favourite colour, I love collecting tins and chickens and cows for my kitchen, I love tea cups and tea pots, I love to quilt and sew and scrapbook, and I'm a music teacher. We live on a 54 acre farm where I love to garden (vegetables) and grow our own food such as chicken, turkey, pork, milk etc. I won't do a deadline right now - I think we'll just create as we can and mail them off as we can :)

I think I too will go with 5x7... I see they sell 5x7 binders and page protectors, which I will be using...

As for me... Blue is probably my favorite color, flower is lilacs :) I collect Willow Tree figurines <3, My kitchen is farm themed. We plan to eventually have goats, chickens, rabbits, pigs, sheep, and possibly horses, alpacas and beef cows. I love to garden and grow veggies and herbs. I love any craft, though I still need to really learn quilting, crochet, and knitting. But I will give anything a try!!! I love to drink tea - HATE coffee (does that make me weird). I love to plan things and have a habit of putting too much on my plate ;)

This sounds like fun! 5x7 works for me too. My fave color is blue...and next would be yellow. I love to make jams/jelly. I grow herbs (they are weeds..right? I can grow a weed.) I collect miniature buildings, boxes and angels. Right now I love to sew and am learning to quilt. I crochet a little, knit a little, weave a little, embroider a little. I want to try every needle art at least once. Would love to do more paper arts; but, I'm not very creative. I am retired to the woods and spend most of my people time with family 2 adult kids, 6 gkids and 5 g-gkids. I like Debbie's idea of using the MJF binder page. (The pages are 5 1/2 " x 8 1/2 "; but, I think I could find or make a sleeve to fit.

5 x 7 for me. My favorite color is purple. I love glitter and sparkly things. I love fairies and mermaids. I love my herb garden, making jam, sewing, beading, and elephants!

Joyce what were you envisioning for this? Maybe a quote? Something artistic and embellished? Or just a written note?

All or any of that, actually! If we want to write a note - we can embellish it - maybe add a quote. Something to make a little scrapbook for each of us :)

Sorry, friends. I think I will have to back out of this one. I love the idea and it sounds so pretty/creative. Recent and current health issues are just in the way.
