Hello everyone,
Please join me in welcoming Brenda (Lavender Rose) to our henhouse. Brenda was my Season box swap partner in 2015. Wonderful gal! I know that she will fit right in with us!

Thank You Everyone! Sorry not to have posted sooner. My Mom was in the hospital with congestive heart failure and a twist knee. Just got her home from rehab the 19th. She is doing better, but still kind of weak. She is 84 and still living alone. A very independent woman. Almost too independent for her own good. lol
This is going to be lots of fun sharing with all of you. I have been looking around the Forum to see what all of you are doing.

| Mom is only about 6 miles from me. She was in the hospital 5 days and rehab 3 and half weeks. Says she is never going to go again. lol Hope she never has to for her sake. She is doing quite well. I also have 2 brothers and 2 sisters that help out with mom. We're told all the time how unusual it is for everyone to help her and visit her so much. I'm the oldest so I have the Durable Power of Attorney and Patient Advocate position for her. Always talk everything over with my siblings though. That way it is a family decision. With a snowstorm today and tonight my brother is going to go over and stay with her tonight. We are blessed that all of our spouses are very understanding about the care of our mom. She is the last Grandma for our children. One sister-in-law still has her parents, but the rest of everyone's parents have past on. |

Afternoon everyone, The packets are in the mail. You should be receiving Brenda's info very soon.
Thanks Brenda for hanging in there with me till we got the computers figured out. Mostly on my part, I got a new one but all the hen house stuff is still on the old one, but have a few issue with the new one. These things are suppose to make our life easier and sometimes I think they make it harder of me anyway. But that said it's all good. Take care and have a good day. |

Sherry, Thanks for getting her info to us. Computers can be a bane to me but I have a great tech guy and he lives here so I just let him do it all for me.. Of course I have to show some patience until he can get the time.  |
