Looking forward to this. I so enjoy doing the swaps. Thank you all for letting me have the fun of coming up with them. I have had suggestions for future swaps and I do appreciate the input on what you like to swap and all of the great ideas.

Linda, I'm happy to be your partner, too! I know you are out with Betty Lou, so just get to it when you can. And if you can't that's ok too, just take care of your family and yourself!

Happy Day!

Hi Ruth :) Busy working on your package :) I am glad we are swap partners. I cannot think of anything I do not eat, except coffee, lol. I do try to stay away from gluten, as my kids seem to be gluten intolerant and I am nursing, not to mention I have Crohn's. What about you?

Amy -

I have most of your February swap stuff done, and only 1 more thing to do. I have everything with me, so if we happen to stay here in Michigan til the 30th I will send it out from here. I think we will be going home the end of next week, but if not I'm ready.

Betty Lou was transferred from the hospital to a Skilled Nursing facility and hospice. The doctor told us last night the cancer was in her breast, lungs, and bones, and she had 3 to 6 months, but then this morning put on her chart 2 months. We are staying here so Ed can get her financial and legal business completed, since he is her Medical POA and probably her executor. There is a lot to do.

Connie, I am delighted that you enjoyed your swap package!! I had fun crocheting the washcloth and making the card. The little sticker on the front heart of the card was from a few old stickers my Mom had saved and somehow I have in a box of old cards. I was wanting to make something with a vintage flair to hang on your tree and when I found this sticker, I was so excited!! Back in the day, my Mom used a lot of seasonal stickers on packages instead of tape. And my Aunt, her sister, always wrapped her gifts in tissue paper and used cute stickers. Did your family use them too? The pottery soap dish comes from Emerson Creek Pottery in Virginia. You can check out their website at emersoncreekpottery.com. Check out the video of their little cabin store on the grounds too. Two years ago, I visited there at the annual fall pottery tent sale and fell in love with their pottery line. The little cabin is my favorite place. So Virginia and so Blue Ridge Mountains! It warms my heart and the people there are friendly and helpful. It is truly a small American made business just a few miles down the road from where I grew up.

Connie, lovely gift from Winnie. Thank you for sharing!

Winnie, I remember those stickers. My grandmother and mother would use them. I love everything vintage. I have a couple of boxes of old ornaments. The box and the ornaments are a treat. Hum ... I wonder if my mom still has stickers? I'll have to check it out next time I come up!

Winnie, I remember the stickers! and I have another one of your mom's stickers on an Easter Egg swap you made a few years ago! I love them! Brought back sweet memories! I will check out Emerson Creek online! Sounds wonderful! I missed the biggest Fall Crafters Fest this year! They show case artisians from all over the USA and they work on their pieces as you watch! It was so hot this year, I didin't get to many of the fests at all. One of the largest Methodist Churches here is moving their Fall fest back to November and it is all inside and all proceeds go to the Youth Mission trips, so I'm excited about that for this year! Thanks Again!!

Oh my Goodness, a wonderful box of Valentines arrived from Connie today!! She made me the cutest ever vintage Valentine bunting, greeting card, and then included giant Hershey kisses, a dark chocolate bar, embroidery thread, delicious warm red yarn, a set of cards to use and decorate, and the cutest little Valentine towel. Check out these fantastic goodies!!

Thank-you, thank-you Connie for such an abundance of Valentine cheer!! I can't wait to go now and put up my bunting and start planning a project with that wonderful yarn!! And my hubby helped break into the chocolate kisses already!! LOL!!! He is wise to the fact now that when Farmgirl mail arrives, there is a possibility that there might be chocolate inside. Boy were those kisses good too! This was such a fun swap and Farmgirl Mail is always the most fun ever!!

Hope you are not getting too much snow and bad weather out your way in Tennessee! Stay warm!!
