Hello everyone! Thanks for letting me join. I live in a small town on Main Street. I have fruit trees, blueberries, red currants, and rhubarb in my backyard. I also love to garden and do a lot of canning. I have two adult children with one being married. I also have a beautiful granddaughter named Zoë. One of my goals is to work on some badges. I also like to sew/quilt, read, bake, and kayak. I can't wait to get to know you gals better.

Hi Julie, welcome to the wildflower group. I love the description of where you live. I can picture it in my mind. My daughter in law is from Mondovi, Wisconsin, actually about ten miles out in the country. Her sister bought their home place. She has a sister in Bruce, one here and a brother in Wisconsin also. My family lives close here in Texas. I have chickens, my husband has a few horses, and of course dogs and kitties. Our son has a lot of horses and he and a neighbor raise Mexican roping steers. I tell people I don't have to go somewhere to see cattle with long horns being herded, because it happens in front of my house several times a year, when they change pastures. The major difference is the four wheelers and golf cart the humans are riding rather than horses. Join some swaps, it will help you get to know everyone.

That's very interesting, Marilyn. Mondovi is just about 45 minutes from me. Michele-windypines is from Bruce, WI.

Thanks Shannon. I just have dwarf trees, but, they still give me quite a bit of fruit. I still need to add a peach tree or two and another pear tree. I would also love to add strawberries too.
